Your editor is a big fan of turtles.

And we haven’t yet met a blue whale we didn’t like.

So, we read with interest and a little humour, that a turtle nest and blue whale feeding ground are two reasons given for stopping the expansion of a huge natural gas project in Western Australia.

Oh, and of course, there’s the perennial worry about the release of CO2 …
